Made the now-traditional Christmas trip to the National Air and Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center a few days ago. Here’s the first, more to come.
Developed three exposures from a single RAW and processed them in Luminance HDR. Then finished in Topaz Adjust 5 and OnOne Perfect Effects 4 Free.
Number three in my Christmas Around the House series this year is this small nativity scene. I photographed it in front of our Christmas tree to take advantage of the bokeh from the tree lights.
For this one, I tonemapped a single exposure in Luminance HDR, then finished it with Topaz Adjust 5’s cross-process filters and a bit of toning and vignette.
Here’s a short homily I found meaningful, so I thought I would share.
I caught this Grinchy fellow at our town’s Christmas parade a couple of weeks ago. He seemed to have found his Christmas spirit!
The first image in my annual Christmas Around the House series is our tree. I do the lights (only took three tries this year) and my wife and kids handle the decorations. Not too shabby. The cat is not actually a present, she just wouldn’t move. She’s a cat, after all.
Found this fuzzy little fellow hiding among the branches in our Christmas tree!
